Forged Rivitless Steel Chain

Fully detachable biplaner chains used largely for overhead conveyors. They are made up from three hardened forgings, stud, innerbar and sidebar, and can be assembled without tools.

Two designs are available, regular and X type. The X-type series having a hole on the centre of the outerlinks for connecting attachments.

Trolleys with various attachments are available as well as rider plates and extended studs.

Driving chains based on AS roller chains are available from stock.

BarLoop Chain

These chains combine a forged hardener inner link with conventional outer sidebars and hardened studs with flat side plates.

They are widely used for scraper applications and usually supplied in riveted construction. An important element of the design is the thickness of the sidebar. It is made larger than is necessary to obtain the chain tensile strength. This is done in order to increase the rubbing area and thereby reduce the wear on the chain and guides.
