Precision Chains receives recognition for apprentice training
We are proud to have been recognised for our support in the Black Country with our commitment to training skilled apprentices. Through working with the Black Country Skills Factory and Dudley College we have had a number of individuals join our staff in production roles across the organisation.
Project Manager, David Landon said: "Through the hiring, training and subsequent employment of apprentices we are ensuring the longevity of our skilled, local workforce. Continuing to recruit high calibre individuals that have a passion for engineering and are eager to learn safeguards our position as a conveyor chain manufacturer with a global reputation and will ensure we remain so for generations to come”.
Whilst apprentices are seen as an important part of maintaining our skilled workforce, they are one part of a strategic manning plan that has seen direct involvement with a number of organisations at both a local and national level, including Dudley College and the University of Wolverhampton.
